Richmond, VA 2017

I love painting Richmond! There is so much beauty for every art taste and style from the James river to the industrial corners and bridges.

I was fortunate to receive two awards during this Plein Air event.

The Honorable Mention in main competition was given by the judge Peter Trippi to my painting that was done right after the rain.

Second award went to the painting that was done during the Quick Draw

It took Second Place

"Make your Saturday Better" the writing on the chalkboard sign said, so I had to paint it :)
